Black Inscription is a rock oratorio created by the band/collective Rabbit Rabbit Radio both as an album and as a live multi-media performance.

The live version is performed by 7 musicians in an immersive environment created by a fabulous team of designers – lighting, video, stage and sound. Black Inscription follows world famous free diver Natalia Molchanova as she swims through the ocean on her final, fatal dive. It is about the power and the fragility of the ocean and the profound place it holds in our lives and our psyches. The initial phase was supported by a grant from Visions and Voices at USC. The fully-rendered multi-media performance, co-directed by Carla and by Mark DeChiazza, premiered at the 2018 Prototype Festival in NYC. For more details, go to BlackInscription.com.
